Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between HikeGoo, RunGoo, and WalkGoo?
HikeGoo is our longest-lasting formula, designed for extended, rugged activity. It contains a high concentration of hard waxes to stay put all day.
RunGoo offers similar durability but includes more soft waxes and oils for better flexibility during high-impact activities like running.
WalkGoo is our most moisturizing formula, with the highest level of soft waxes and oils. It’s ideal for daily foot care and light activity.
How do I use HikeGoo and RunGoo?
Apply a thick layer directly to blister-prone areas of your feet—like heels, between toes, and toe sides. Do not rub it in. You want a visible layer to act as a friction barrier.
Gently roll or pull your socks on to keep the Goo in place.
If you get any on your hands, use the inside of your clean sock to wipe it off.
Apply once before your activity. One application will last all day—no need to reapply!
Note: HikeGoo and RunGoo are slippery without socks.
How do I use WalkGoo?
Apply generously to dry, cracked, or blister-prone areas of your feet. Do not rub in.
Roll or pull your socks on carefully to keep the Goo in place.
Use the inside of a clean sock to wipe your hands if needed.
WalkGoo is slippery without socks.
What makes HikeGoo, RunGoo, and WalkGoo different from other blister prevention products?
Unlike other products that wear off quickly, our Goos are engineered to last 8+ hours with one application.
Sweat, moisture, and even river crossings won’t wash them away. They actually integrate with sweat to maintain protection.
The balance of hard waxes slows absorption, so the Goo stays on your skin longer.
Developed by our founders, Rick and Carl, these formulas are made for people who don’t want to stop mid-activity to reapply.
Are HikeGoo, RunGoo, and WalkGoo fragrance-free?
Yes, all our products are fragrance-free!
